Parking Diagram and Instructions
There isn't a lot of parking available at my property, but my neighbor, Sara, is supporting these events by making her property available for parking.
Do NOT park on any of my neighbors' grass!
Oooh, that would be bad!
Do not block neighborhood traffic.
I have really wonderful neighbors and I do not want these events to cause any problems for them. They should not have to deal with damage from people parking or driving in their yard or blocking the road.
Dropping off passengers and Items
If you have passengers, chairs or food that you'd like to drop off near the concert, you can drive to my house before returning to the parking area to park.
Enter the asphalt loop part of my driveway as shown by the orange dashed line.
Drop off passengers and items and then return to the parking area (yellow double line)
Then, park and walk back (white small dotted line).
Please park in the designated parking areas unless other arrangements have been made
In the picture above, the area to park is designated ("Park Here")
As you drive toward my house from Old Manchester Road, you will pass Sara's house (on your left) as you drive around a bend in the road.
After going round the bend, there is an entrance to the parking area on your left.
Drive up the gravel driveway towards her barn and park on the gravel in front of her barn.
If that area becomes full (unlikely) you can park along the gravel drive itself.
After 7, you can park on my driveway (but don't block vehicle access to the barn)
If you arrive late and want to park in the circular part of my driveway, you may.
Warning: if you do park in the circular part, you may get blocked in.
Please don't drive on the grass to get out.
Don't park on the "straight" part of the driveway as that will block emergency vehicles from getting to the barn.
Special accommodations
Please let me know if you need help parking or have other concerns
Some options that are available:
If you are not comfortable walking down the gravel driveway, or have a lot of items, you could drive down the gravel driveway and drop off items right at the barn entrance.
Then, you could move your car or someone could drive your car to a parking area for you.
You may not leave your car parked next to the barn
There are a few parking spots along my asphalt driveway that are suitable to park on because there is gravel and/or the soil is very hard under the grass
Please ask me about this if you need to park very close to the event location.
